Band of Horses news

As the June 10 release of fifth studio album Why Are You OK (Interscope Records/American Recordings) nears, Band of Horses has added more than two dozen dates to the North American leg of its world tour. The new dates begin in August and include a Sept. 22 headline appearance at New York’s Central Park Summerstage, Voodoo Fest in New Orleans and more before the last date in November. More dates to be announced.

At acoustic in-store concerts at independent record stores across the country, every attendee receives a limited edition poster featuring the couple on the cover of Why Are You OK superimposed into the local surroundings of each store. The band will ring in the new album's release date at Grimey's in Nashville.

Band of Horses also just did "Whatever Whatever" on The Late Late Show with James Corden and played "Solemn Oath" as a web exclusive for the show.

This Thursday, fans should tune in to Ben Bridwell's custom pop-up radio show on Beats 1 Radio at 7pm PST. The special 1-hour show will feature the premiere of new songs from Why Are You OK, songs that inspired the record, and candid conversations with collaborators, friends, etc.
